Concert Weekend

Standard
I’m off on vacation tomorrow! Woohoo! Its going to be so sweet to sleep in.

Also, THE concert of the summer is here on Saturday. Which means we have a house full of people again and it should be a wicked time. They are expecting about 35,000 people at this outdoor concert.

Last year, along with 86,000 other people, we saw the Rolling Stones in the city’s outdoor concert. We were at the front, about 50 feet from the stage, and when you turned around all you could see was people for as far as your eye could see. It was absolutely wicked. They are coming back this year, next month, but I don’t think we’ll go again.

  1. The concert was awesome! Lots of fun.

We had a beautiful day until 10:04 — three minutes after Brooks & Dunn took the stage. And then it poured. Buckets of rain. Those poor guys were soaked – along with the rest of us. But they still played, I think they said they cut it short by about 10 minutres. And then we had to walk up that hill in the mud.

I loved Alan Jackson. He was amazing. And even Sugarland was really good live.
